WETNFIX™ can help you  fix the wall plug into the wall in just 3 minutes.  It consists of a  cotton weaved pad impregnated with a special formulated gypsum which bonds naturally into masonry, ceramic, wood and plasterboard walls, fixing the plug securely in place. First select a rawlplug and appropiate screw, take one pad and wet it in a container with some water, shake off any excess. Place the end of the plug in the center of the pad and mould it around. Insert this plug into the hole with a turning action, making sure it fits snugly (if still loose add another pad), tap it gently with a hammer ensuring it is flush with the wall. In 3 minutes the plug is bonded to the wall and ready for you to apply your fittings. Remember to increase the setting time by 1 minute per extra pad added. See our video demo or click "how to use it"

Yes, WETNFIX ™ was invented specifically for this type of problem. It is not the plug that fails but the wall. WETNFIX™ is designed to stabilise the surrounding substrate and securing the plug in place. .  The special formulated gypsum which a WETNFIX™ pad is impregnated with, bonds naturally to almost all building materials, such as masonry, brickwork, ceramic, wood and plasterboard, it won't displace the plug a fixing is applied. It is an essential repair kit which you should have in your toolbox.

A:

WETNIFIX™ is essentially a wall plug repair kit, it fixes wall plugs to problem/crumbly walls but it serves many purposes in doing so. It can basically fix most wall fiitings which have become loose or detached from a wall which may be crumbly or the hole drilled is too big for the wall plug/fixture. Due to its special formula it bonds the wall plug securely in most building materials walls, such as masonry, brickwork, ceramic, wood and plasterboard walls. Therefore it has many uses around your home: fixing a loose curtain pole or a curtain rail, bathroom fittings such as a toilet roll holder, a shelf, a hanging bathroom mirror, a towel rail or rack, a bathroom unit, secure a picture hook: light to medium weight fixings such as bookshelves, shelf, hanging unit and many more.  However as a rule, WETNFIX™ is only as strong as the surrounding wall so for heavy loading fittings, such a TV bracket it is not recommended. Always consult a building contractor for this or other specific needs.

A:

In most cases only one pad of WETNFIX™  is required with the determined wall plug to be used. Once the pad is applied around the plug, it should fit snugly into the hole. However if it feels loose just add and extra pad or pads if necessary however please allow extra time per pad before applying your fixture. We recommend 1 minute per extra pad.

A:

WETNFIX™  is water soluble, so any excess moisture cab be removed with a damp cloth.

A:

Yes. Fischer is WETNFIX™ 's main distributor, please refer to Packaging.

A:

Unlike other resin based solutions, WETNFIX™  is easy to use, requires little or no preparation of the wall and has a quick setting time. As it eliminates the need to fill or redrill a new hole, you need less tools and materials making it a fast and cost effective solution. The wall plug the pad which is impregnated with a special formulated gympsum bonds naturally with masonry, brickwork, ceramic, wood and plasterboard walls, so it has many applications.

A:

WETNFIX™ is recommended for holes up to 1 inch in diameter (approximately 2.5 cm). The wall plug should be tightly fitted, so you may need to apply extra pads to a very loose plug. However is imperative that you always allow an extra minute setting time per extra pad added.

A:

There are 10 discs in a single packet of WETNFIX™ , which can be used for up to 10 applications.  However, extra pads may be needed in one application if the hole is quite large.  It is not unusual to use up to 3 discs with one plug, just remember to allow 1 extra minute setting time per extra pad.

A:

WETNFIX™  is water soluble so if the fixing itself will be in constant contact with water we do not recommend it. However is perfectly reasonable to fix fittings in a bathroom, such a toillet paper holder, a unit, a shelf, a towel rack, a shower fixture/rail, a hook for hanging picture frame, or where the wall plug itself is covered by the fixture.

A:

WETNFIX™ is water soluble - simply use a damp cloth to wipe any residue.

A:

This is due to the wall being crumbly and not being  able to sustain the force applied when the screw is turning. WETNFIX™ eliminates this because it bonds and secures the wall plug into the wall so you can apply the force necessary to apply your fitting.

A:

A wall plug also known as rawlplug, wall anchor, plasplugs, wall bolts, screwplugs and Dübels; are tapered tubes of plastic or metal material which is inserted into a drilled hole so the screw can be tightened into the centre. It works as the action of the screw wedges the plug firmly in place and the material conforms tightly to the masonry. If a wall plug is loose or the hole is too big because it has expanded or cracked and a larger plug is not advised for your type of fitting, it is necessary to use a material to fix it into place. WETNFIX has been specifically designed to solve these problems.
